PT-8S Digital Rotational Viscometer

Features:

1. This instrument is a digital viscometer, where the motor drives the rotor at a constant speed via a speed reducer. When the rotor rotates in the liquid, the liquid generates a viscous torque acting on the rotor—the greater the viscosity of the liquid, the larger this viscous torque becomes; conversely, the smaller the viscosity of the liquid, the smaller the viscous torque. The viscous torque acting on the rotor is detected by the sensor and processed by the computer to determine the viscosity of the measured liquid.

2. This instrument utilizes microcomputer technology, allowing for convenient range setting (rotor number and speed). It digitally processes data detected by the sensor and clearly displays on the screen the set rotor number, speed, viscosity value of the measured liquid, and its full-scale percentage during measurement.

3. The instrument is equipped with four rotors (No. 1, 2, 3, and 4) and eight speed settings (0.3, 0.6, 1.5, 3, 6, 12, 30, and 60 revolutions per minute), forming 32 combinations to measure the viscosity of various liquids within the specified range.
